April 3, 2024 The 6th Middlesex Regiment held a cartridge wrapping event at the Canova Tavern in Carlisle MA. Similar to Colonial times when colonial militia would gather to wrap lead balls and black powder in cartdriges, the regiment gathered to wrap black powder (only) cartridges in support of our slate of parades thorughout Northern Massachuessets and New Hampshire. The towns of Chelmsford, Pepperall, Carlisle, Littleton, Westford and Concord were well represented. During this session, the Regiment wrapped over 800 cartridges.
